Former Soldierite		  Date indicated Jan. 1958
Dies In Wisconsin                 (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Mrs. Jennie (Julius) Skow, about 81, passed away in a hospital in 
Minnesota Saturday morning, following a stroke on Thursday.  She has been 
making her home with her daughter, Ruby, the Russell Rhineharts at Nelson, 
Wis. Since the death of Mr. Skow several months ago.  She has been in quite 
bad health of late.
	Mrs. Skow lived on a farm east of Soldier for many years (the place 
now farmed by Kenneth Lee).  After they retired from the farm they moved to 
Onawa and then the last few years before Mr. Skow’s death they had a home in 
Nelson, Wis. Near their daughter.
	Besides the daughter, she leaves one sister, Mrs. Ole C. Norby, and 
one brother, Archie Nelson, both of So’dier(sic).  Also a number of other 
relatives and a host of friends.
	Funeral services were held Monday at Nelson.
	If we obtain a complete obituary it will be used next week.
