	Wilmer C. Sogn, 74, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 1992, in a Sioux City 
hospital.
	
	Mr. Sogn was born Jan. 30, 1917, at Canton, S.D., the son of Kaspar 
and Nora Sogn.   He married Vivian V. Hanson Nov. 12, 1938, in Soldier, Iowa.  
	
	Survivors include his wife; two sons and their wives, Ronald and 
Bonnie of Mitchell, S.D., and Douglas and Patty of Edgemont, S.D.; three 
daughters, Sharon Shook of Sioux City, Wanda and her husband, Robert 
VanRooyan, of Sioux City and Sandra McCoy of Santa Ana, Calif.; two brothers 
and their wives, Kenneth and Avonelle and Walter and June, all of Canton; a 
sister, Mrs. Morris (Edith) Magnuson, of Sioux Falls; 15 grandchildren; and 19 
great-grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Florence Dale 
and Emily Sogn; and a great-granddaughter, Amber Lee Shook.
