Raymond E. Solberg                      (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	ELK POINT, S.D. – Raymond E. Solberg, 79, of Elk Point died Tuesday in 
a Sioux City hospital.
	
	Mr. Solberg was born Nov. 7, 1906, in Monona County, Iowa,  He married 
Agnes Vanvick Sept. 5, 1931, in Sioux Falls.    Mrs. Solberg died May 13, 1983.
	
	Survivors include two daughters, one of Laramie, Wyo., one of Elk 
Point; a brother, William of Denison, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Hollis Hamilton of 
Salix, Iowa; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
