Alice O. Solberg

	Alice O. Solberg, 87, of Moorhead, Iowa died Tuesday, February 5, 1991 
in Onawa, Iowa.
	She was born September 11, 1903, at rural Soldier, Iowa, the daughter 
of Even and Amelia (Amunson) Ulven.  
	Alice was united in marriage to LaVerne “Shorty” Solberg on November 
3, 1923, in Onawa, Iowa.   Survivors include her daughter, Joyce, and her 
husband, Earl Ballantyne, of Moorhead, three sons of Moorhead, another son  of 
Hawarden, and another  of Red Oak, three sisters, one of Dunlap, Gilma 
Kirchoff of San Rafael, Calif., and Evelyn Seaton of Moorhead, twenty-six 
grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren, two great great 
grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and eight 
brothers and sisters.
