Susanna Sorenson                               (From the collection of Vivian 
Norby Andersen)

	Susanna Sorenson, formerly of Moorhead, died at Torrance, Calif. on 
February 5, 1986, having reached the age of 96 years, 10 months, and 23 days.
	She was born on March 13, 1889, in Sioux Township, Moorhead, the 
daughter of Peder and Karen Mortensen.  
	She was married to William Sorenson, son of Jens and Ane Sorenson of 
Spring Valley Township, Moorhead, on March 3, 1909.  
	To this union six children were born.  Lloyd Russell and Florence Eva 
died in infancy.  Darrell passed away in 1980 and Raymond passed away in 1983.
	She is survived by two sons, one of Hemet, Calif. and the other  of 
Los Angeles; three granddaughters, two grandsons, seven great grandchildren, 
many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William, three 
sons, a daughter, a sister, Martha and a brother, Carl.
