Mrs. HANS STEEN                         (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Mrs. Hans (Alma) Steen, a lifelong resident of Soldier, Iowa, passed 
away at the Elmwood Nursing Home at Onawa, Iowa, on March 9, 1980.
	She was born Alma Hedrick Hanson on February 5, 1898 and was the 
daughter of Casper Hanson and Annie Amunson Hanson.   On December 4, 1926, 
Alma was married to Hans Steen.  He died on October 10, 1974.
	Survivors are a niece of Onawa and a nephew of Denver, Colo., and 
several cousins and other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by 
her parents and her husband.
