Harold Straight                                   (From the collection of 
Vivian Norby Andersen)

	Harold Straight, 79, of San Jose, California, died on Sunday, May 23.  
Survivors include sons Harvey Straight of Soldier and Lloyd Straight of 
California, and a daughter, Lela Downing of California.  Funeral services were 
held on Wednesday, May 26, at Oak Hill Memorial Cemetery in San Jose.
	Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Straight and Dede of Soldier, and Denise 
Christiansen of Elkhorn left from Omaha on Monday to fly to San Jose.
	Don Straight of Minot, North Dakota also attended the services.  The 
Straight’s will return home on Friday.

HAROLD STRAIGHT

	Harold Straight, 78, of San Jose, Calif., died of a heart attack May 
23, 1982.  He was born in Panama, Iowa to Pat and Cora Straight on July 17, 
1903.  He married Marie Baumgardner in 1924.    Marie preceded him in death in 
1963.  He is survived by two sisters and three brothers, Lola Kuykendal of 
Chanute, Kan., Leta Pryor of Woodbine, Ted and Fred of Logan, and Bernard of 
San Jose, Calif., one daughter Lela Downing of Santa Cruz, Calif., Loyd 
Straight of Livermore, CA and Harvey of Soldier.
	He had seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
