	Harvey Robert Straight, 63, of Soldier, Iowa, died Sunday, 
December 6, 1992,  in Iowa City 
	He was born August 28, 1929, in Elk Horn, NE the son of Harold and 
Marie (Bumgardner) Straight. He married Colleen Lee on March 28, 1948 in 
Soldier.  
	
	Survivors include his wife, Colleen, of Soldier; one son, Don Straight 
and his wife, Susie of Charleston, West Virginia; two daughters, Denise and 
her husband, J.R. Christiansen of Soldier and DeDe and her husband John 
Sullivan of Dunlap; four grandchildren, James, Yvonne, and Jeff Straight and 
Ashley Christiansen; one sister, Lela Downing of Soldier and one brother, 
Lloyd Straight of Livermore, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
	He was preceded in death by his parents.
