	Arthur Swanson, 70, passed away in Lincoln, NE on August 27, 1988.  Dea
	He was born at Sloan on September 16, 1917, the son of Franklin and 
Tilda (Lindberg) Swanson.  
	Survivors include three sons, William of Las Vegas, Nev., Donald of 
Omaha, and Arthur “Tony” of Sloan; a sister, Bertha Wallukait of Sioux City, 
two brothers, Bernard of Sloan and Leonard of Moville, nine grandchildren and 
five great grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Helen.
