	Bette M. Swenson, 66, of Soldier died Friday, October 9, 1987, in 
Omaha, NE
	She was born July 17, 1921, on a farm near Panama, Iowa, the youngest 
child of Fred and Malinda (Black) Baber.   On August 5, 1945, she married  
Isaac B. Swenson, Jr. 
	
	Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Linda) Heinen of Omaha 
and Mrs. Dennis (Judy) Schmidt of LeMars, six grandchildren, nieces, nephews, 
and many other relatives and friends.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Isaac, in 1982, 
two brothers, Virgil in 1965 and Delbert in infancy, and one sister, Geraldine 
in 1976.
