Adolph Swenson                      (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Adolph Swenson, 87, Soldier, Iowa died January 17, 1983 at Marian 
Health Center in Sioux City, Iowa.
	Adolph was born October 9, 1895 at Soldier, Iowa to Andrew and Jennie 
Johnson Swenson.    He was united in marriage to Ida Nelson at Soldier on 
October 14, 1925.  She preceded him in death on June 10, 1944.  
	Survivors include three sons all of Soldier, two sisters, Mrs. Grace 
Carritt and Mrs. Gunda Harris both of Soldier, eight grandchildren and 
thirteen great-grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ida, one brother 
and five sisters.
