	Andrew “Andy” Oliver Swenson, 84, of Mapleton, Iowa, formerly of Ute, 
Iowa, died Saturday, August 29, 1992, in Mapleton.
	He was born February 9, 1908, Southeast of Soldier, Iowa, to Swen A. 
and Olena (Peterson) Swenson.  On February 14, 1929, he married Pauline A. 
Reeder at Soldier.  
	Survivors include one daughter and her husband, Joan and Glen Butler 
of Soldier; three sons and their wives, Myron and Lou Swenson of Sioux City, 
Iowa, James and Helene Swenson of Carson City, NV, and Robert and Mary Swenson 
of Moreno Valley, CA, three brothers, Swen K. of Fonda, and Clifford and 
Harold of Moorhead, one sister, Lillian Price of Council Bluffs, fourteen 
grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Pauline, one 
sister, Gladys Husted and one grandson, Travis.
