MRS. OSCAR
TANBERG				(From the collection of Vivian Norby Andersen)

	Mrs. Oscar Tanberg, 79, Soldier passed away October 30, 1978 at 
Burgess Memorial Hospital, Onawa.
	Mrs. Tanberg, the former Pauline Alma Berg, was born April 2, 1899, at 
Soldier, the daughter of Severt Berg and Belle Peterson.  She married Samuel 
Lee of April 5, 1916 at Soldier.  He died in 1918.  On February 24, 1926, she 
married Oscar Tanberg at Soldier.  He died in 1972.
	
	Survivors include a daughter of Riverside, California; four sons, 
Clifford Lee of Storm Lake, Lyle Lee of Omaha, William Tanberg of Sunnymead, 
California, and Robert Tanberg of Olympia, Washington; a stepson Milton 
Tanberg of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Nordaker, of Soldier, 
Johanna Kelly of Danbury, and Tessie Lester of Interior, South Dakota; 18 
grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
	She was also preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters, and 1 
brother.
