	William L. Tanberg, 62, of Moreno Valley, Calif. died October 7, 1989 
in a hospital in Long Beach, Calif.
	Mr. Tanberg, son of the late Oscar and Pauline Tanberg, was born April 
10, 1927, in Soldier, Iowa.  
	Survivors include his wife, Betty, Moreno Valley, Calif., one 
daughter, Sandra and son-in-law, Steven Mendoza of Salina, Calif., one son 
Steven Tanberg, U.S.N., Rota, Spain, one granddaughter, Jennifer Mendoza, 
Salinas, Calif., one sister, Mrs. John (Bonita) Britton, Riverside, Calif., 
four brothers, Robert, Olymipa(sic), Wash., Milton of Waynesville, N.C., Lyle, 
Omaha, Neb., and Clifford, Onawa, father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Louis 
Erdeg, Windson(sic), Ontario, Can. And a host of relatives and friends.
