He passed away last Saturday, February 20 after a long and lingering siege of cancer in the stomach. Mr. Tollefson was about fifty four years old at the time of his death. He was born in Valdres, Norway in July 3, 1855. He was married to Miss Ingeborg Swenson. The family came to this country twenty years ago and settled in the town of Blue Mounds, where they continued to reside until a few years ago when they moved to their farm in Hoff Township. Mr. Tollefson is survived by his wife and six children, Tollef, Syver, Mrs. Clifgard, Knut, Edwin and Ole. Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon by Rev. Chr. Pederson, with interment at the West Zion Church. The bereaved family have the sympathy of their numerous friends in the loss of a kind husband and father.
