EDNA SURBER TORNOW             (From the collection of Vivian Norby Andersen)

	Edna Surber Tornow was born December 24, 1892 at Moorhead, Iowa and 
passed from this life in the St. Lukes Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa on 
July 12, 1973.  
	On March 21, 1912, she was united in marriage with Fred Tornow at 
Moorhead, Iowa.  He preceded her in death on Oct. 8, 1961.
	
	
	Survivors include her three sons; Ivan of Corvallis, Oregon, Donald F. 
of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Robert E. of Corvallis, Oregon; 9 
grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and four sisters, Mae (Mrs. Wayne 
Outhouse) of Moorhead, Iowa; Irene Franklin, Nora (Mrs. J. R. Cartmell) and 
Mildred (Mrs. Melvin Olson) all of Onawa.
	Besides her husband she was preceded in death by one daughter, Eunice, 
two sons, Leon and Floyd and one brother, Charley.
