	Theo. Uhlig, 77, one of Soldier’s most outstanding citizens, passed 
away shortly after 10:00 p.m. Monday, June 1 at the Onawa hospital.
		
	Theodore Uhlig was born April 10, 1876 at Sidney, Nebr., and passed 
away at the Onawa hospital Monday, June 1 at the age of 77 years, one month 
and 21 days.
	  He was united in marriage to Iva Smith March 6, 1920.  To this union 
four children were born, one son, Harold, dying in infancy.
	Surviving are his wife and three children, a son of Ceylon, Minn., a 
daughter  of San Francisco, Calif., a daughter  of Lincoln, Nebr.; three 
sisters, Mrs. B. F. Madison of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Mrs. Wm. Tynan of 
Liberal, Kansas, and Mrs. Herman Burger of Whitewood, So. Dak.; several 
grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
