Elmer Ulven			(From the collection of Vivian Norby Andersen)

	Elmer “Beaver” Ulven was born December 19, 1905 in Soldier, Iowa and 
passed from this life in the Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa, Iowa on 
February 29, 1984.  
	Survivors include one son in Onawa, one daughter of Whiting, one 
brother, Herman also of Onawa, five sisters, Mrs. Alice Solberg and Mrs. 
Evelyn Seaton both of Moorhead, Iowa, Mrs. Earl (Cora) Howard of Dunlap, Iowa, 
Mrs. William (Gilma) Kerchoff of San Rafael, Calif., and Mrs. Anna Winter of 
Elk Point, S.D., four grandchildren, a number of other relatives and friends.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Virgil, 
Charles, and two infants, Clark and Clarence, and an infant sister.
