Emma Florence Uptegrove                    (From the collection of Vivian 
Norby Andersen)

	Emma Florence Moorehead Uptegrove was born in Atlanta, Ill., on April 
18, 1883, and passed from this life in her home in Onawa, Iowa on September 
30, 1983.  
	She was united in marriage with Nat Uptegrove in Onawa, Iowa on August 
4, 1901.  He preceded her in death October 7, 1935.
	Survivors include, one son-in-law, N. E. (Red) Williams of Onawa; two 
granddaughters; four grandsons; and seventeen great grandchildren.	
	She was preceded in death by her husband and two daughters, Myrtle in 
1977 and Dorothy (Wright) in 1982.
