	Lester L. Walke, 81, passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 1992, at a Sioux 
City hospital.
	
	Mr. Walke was born April 6, 1911, at Guttenberg, Iowa.   He married 
Merle Larsen Dec. 14, 1935, at Elk Point, S.D.  
	
	Survivors include his wife; two daughters and their husbands, Maxine 
and Marvin Percell and Dianne and Claude Head, all of Sioux City; five 
grandchildren, Craig Percell, Karen Ulven and Jason and Jamie Head, all of 
Sioux City, and Kimberly Kerkhoff of Lincoln, Ill.; seven great-grandchildren; 
two brothers, Verland of Chicago and Belmont of Chula Vista, Calif.
	He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
