	Robert “Tuffy” Walker, 78, passed away Friday, January 24, 2003 at 
Burgess Health Center in Onawa, Iowa.
	Robert was born January 28, 1924 near Blencoe, the son of Isaac and 
Ruth (Hime) Walker.  
	  He married Vera Thogersen March 30, 1947 at Blencoe.  
	Survivors include his wife; two daughters Cheryl Green of  Waterford, 
CT and Charlene Walker  of Onawa; four sons, Ronald of Smith River, CA, 
Bradley of Blencoe, Kevin and his wife, Sandy of Defiance, IA and Mark of 
Blencoe; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; a brother and his 
wife, Gordon and Mabel Walker of Onawa and a sister and her husband, Mary and 
Milo Stanislav of Little Sioux, IA.
	He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Clinton; and a 
brother, George.
