Lyle L. Waples, 74, Soldier, Iowa, died Monday, October 31, 1994, at Burgess 
Memorial Hospital in Onawa, Iowa.
	Mr. Waples was born on January 2, 1920, at Turin, Iowa, the son of 
Walter and Louisa (Perry) Waples.    On September 3, 1946, he married Cleone 
M. Nordaker in Onawa.   She died on October 22, 1982, at Las Vegas.  
	
	Survivors include one son, Douglas and his wife Jan Waples of Soldier; 
two brothers and their wives, Dale and Etta Waples of Axtell, KS and Bob and 
Anita Waples of Vista, CA; one sister and her husband, Julie and Ole Lansted 
of Westlake Village, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
	He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Cleone.
