Joseph H. Watkins                           (From the collection of Vivian 
Norby Andersen)

	Joseph H. Watkins was born April 14, 1907 in Congerville, Ill. and 
passed from this life in the Veterans Hospital in Omaha, Nebr., on January 7, 
1984.  
	On June 8, 1929 he was united in marriage with Gudrun Johnson in 
Peoria, Ill.  	Survivors include his wife Gudrun of Onawa; four daughters; 
five sons; five sisters; Carrie Gille, Bellingham, Washington; Virona Stephens 
of Carlock, Illinois; Mrs. Don (Erma June) Phillips of Cathedral City, 
California and Ida Mae Domby of Waco, Texas; 33 grandchildren and 3 great-
grandchildren.
	His parents, two sisters, Anna Aldridge and Rose Wallace and one 
brother, Ben, preceded him in death.
