Jewell O. Waugh 



       The Honorable Jewell O. Waugh, 96, formerly of Whiting passed away 
Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, 
      Jewell O. Waugh was born June 13, 1910, near Lyons, Neb., the son of 
Arley J. and Carrie (Hamre) Waugh. 
      He and Cleta (Harding) Waugh were married in 1930 in Council Bluffs, 
Iowa. 
        Survivors include his wife of 76 years, Cleta; six grandchildren; 
eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Lorraine Harding; and four sisters-in-
law, Marvel Brenden, Georgia Waugh, Helen Waugh and Myrtle Waugh.

He was preceded in death by a son, Norman Jewell; three brothers, Gerald, 
Bernell and Donald; and a sister, Elmira Oldis.
