	Frank West, 89, of Sloan died Sunday, January 7, 1990 at Burgess 
Memorial Hospital in Onawa.
	He was born March 14, 1900 in Modale, Iowa the son of John and Sarah 
Elizabeth (Stansberry) West.  He attended country school at blencoe.  On 
February 7, 1925, he married Eva Anderson at the Anderson home in Blencoe.  
	Survivors include his wife, Eva; one son, Allan of Sloan; one sister, 
Mrs. Grace Garwin of Folsom, California; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great 
grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Warren; four 
sisters; three brothers; and 1one grandson, Bradley.
