WILSON WEST LIBERTY, IA. (From the collection of Vivian Norby Andersen) David B. Wilson was born March 18, 1890 and passed from this life on April 19, 1973 at West Liberty, Iowa. He was a graduate of Iowa State College of Veterinary in 1913, and then came to Moorhead and began his practice which he continued in Moorhead during the years of 1913 through 1917. This led up to his service overseas in World War I. During his stay in Moorhead, he met and married Elma Lee, daughter of Mitchell and Lena Lee. Soon after his return from the service, they moved to Belle Plaine, Iowa, where he practiced in veterinary but gave this up to enter into the farming profession at West Liberty where he and his wife, Elma,and two daughters reside yet. Survivors include wife, Elma, 2 daughters, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Carl (Dorothy) Garrels (deceased in January, 1959).
