Harlow C. Wingate

	Harlow C. Wingate, 82, of Soldier, Iowa, died Thursday, August 16, 
1990, in Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa.
	He was born August 9, 1908, the son of Oscar and Nettie (Melby) 
Wingate, on the Wingate farm east of Soldier.    He married Marilla McDole 
June 30, 1932, at Onawa.  
	
	Survivors include his wife, Marilla, of Soldier, two sons,  both of 
Soldier, of Mapleton, a sister, Alice Thoreson of St. Paul, Minn., and two 
grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Nadine Berens.
