DOROTHY WRIGHT                        (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Dorothy Kate Uptegrove Wright of Onawa was born at Little Sioux, Iowa, 
on September 15, 1905, and passed away at Edenton, N.C., on Monday, October 
18, 1982.  
	She was the daughter of Nathan Earl Uptegrove and Emma Florence 
Moorhead. She married Walter Wright on July 28, 1930.  He preceded her in 
death.  She was a librarian at the Onawa Public Library for many years.
	
	Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Emma Florence Uptegrove of Onawa, 
three sons; seven grandchildren and two nieces, Natalie Peters and Marlene 
Stanford and a nephew, Jim Williams.  She was preceded in death by her father 
and one sister, Myrtle Williams.
