	Jerry Yanak, 70, Moorhead, Iowa, died Friday, July 8, 1988,  in Omaha, 
Neb. 
	He was born in South Omaha, Neb., on January 13, 1918, the son of 
Anton and Magdalina Katrina (Jary) Yanak.    He married Vonda West April 28, 
1935, in Whiting, Iowa.
	 
	Survivors include his wife, Vonda, of Moorhead, Mrs. Darrell (Beverly) 
Andrews of Moorhead, Mrs. Grant (Barbara) Mann of Turin, Iowa, Mrs. Robert 
(Geraldine) McGuir of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Joleen Haynes of Onawa; a son and 
daughter-in-law, Larry Eugene, Sr. and Dorothy of Clarence, Iowa, three 
brother, Fred and Joe of Onawa and Frank of Whiting, fourteen grandchildren 
and seventeen great grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tony.
