	Loreen E. York, 70,  formerly of Soldier, Iowa, died Saturday, March 
22, 1997, in Lancaster, CA
	
	Mrs. (Amunson) York was born July 18, 1926, in Iowa.  She married 
Vernon York Feb. 13, 1954.
	Survivors include her husband of Lancaster, formerly of Mapleton, 
Iowa; two daughters, Pamela of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Judith Neville, of 
Livermore, Calif.; a son and his wife, Brian and Joan of Simi Valley, Calif.; 
two grandchildren, Matthew and Erica Neville; four sisters, Evelyn Flynn of 
Ute, Iowa, Elaine Amunson of Castana, Iowa, Clara Amundson of Castana, Iowa, 
and Hazel Amundson of Soldier; two brothers, Lowell Amunson of Soldier, and 
Clifferd Amunson of Moville, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, Olaf and HaNora Amunson; 
three brother, Leo, Milton, and Kermit Amunson; and a sister, Verona Hanson.
