Three of the children are residents of Miami, two of them widely known business men. Those standing in the top row, left to right, are Louis Hector, manager of the Drake Lumber Company of Miami; Mrs. E. J. Boymen, 432 N. E. Twenty-seventh street; Miss Amelia Hector, who lives with her parents in Walnut; Fred C. Hector of Walnut; Julius Hector, the father, who is president of the Exchange State Bank of Walnut, and Mrs. C. R. Spanglar, who lives in Walnut. Seated on the ground at the left is Harry H. Hector, president and owner of the Hector Supply Company of Miami, and seated in the center of the picture is the mother, Mrs. Julius Hector. To the right is Miss Edna Hector of Walnut and on the right end of the lower row is C. J. Hector, who has retired and lives in Fort Lauderdale. Mr. Hector, the father, is 74 years of age and Mrs. Hector is 69. They were married in 1876. Fred C. Hector said that his father is as active and looks nearly as young as his sons.
