I hereby direct that all just debts and funeral expenses and expenses of my last sickness, be first paid out of the assets of my estate. 2nd. Subject to the foregoing, I hereby will, devise and bequeath all property of every kind and character which I may possess at my decease to my four children, to-wit: Gladys Gowdy, of Ottumwa, Iowa; Ivan Hoadley, of Princeton, Illinois; William Hoadley, of Foster, Iowa, and Mary Peterson, of Flint, Michigan, share and share alike, said four children to share equally in my estate. 3rd. I hereby nominate and appoint as executor of my estate, John Robinson, of Foster, Iowa , and request that he be permitted to serve as such executor without bond.
