Discharge
To all whom it may concern
Know ye that John Binegar private of Captian Daniel F Eicher Company E 6th 
Regiment of Iowa Calvary Volunteers who was enrolled on the thrieth of October 
1863 to serve three years or during the war is hearby discharged from serving 
the United States this seventeenth day of October 1865 at Sioux City Iowa by 
order of the Secretary of War Said John Binegar was born in the State of 
Indiana is 17 years of age 5ft 4in high dark complexion hazel eyes brown hair 
and by occupation when enrolled a farmer. Given at Sioux City Iowa this 
seventeenth day of October 1865
