Services For Mrs. Oscar Lindgren Held On Sunday

  Funeral services were held last Sunday afternoon at the Trinity Lutheran 
Church for Mrs. Oscar Lindgren, who died on Thursday Marth 26th at Red Oak, 
Iowa. 
  Pastor A. P. Almen Conducted the services and burial was in the Lutheran 
cemetery north of  Carthage.  Bearers were: Emil and Raymond Sanson, Albin 
Fors, Edwin Hokanson, Clarence Anderson and Russell Nelson. 
  Mrs. Lindgren lived for many years in the Carthage community She and her 
husband came here in 1911 and settled on a farm in Sanborn county.  They were 
members of the Old Zion Lutheran Church during the years here.  Following the 
death of her husband in 1934 Mrs. Lindgren moved to Red Oak, Owa to make her 
home.  One son Richard died in 1929.
  She is survived by two sons, Russell and Raymond of Red Oak and Council 
Bluffs, Iowa; also by three sisters, two brothers and two grandchildren.
