(Hechtner) Sauer found in back of bible. I assume that this was taken from a Denver newspaper. Mrs. Elizabeth A. Sauer Mrs. Elizabeth A Sauer, Denver resident for over 50 years, died yesterday in her home after a long illness. She was 81. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. tomorrow in the Olinger Mortuary, Boulder st. Burial will be in Crown Hill. Mrs. Sauer was born April 2, 1869, in Nichols, Iowa, where she spent the early part of her life. She was married there Aug. 15, 1865, to William Sauer, who died in 1948. The couple came to Denver in 1898. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Louise K. Shissler of Denver, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
