The Rev. A.D. Steffenson, pastor of the First Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be at the Nichols cemetery. Mrs. Rummells was born April 13, 1872, at Nichols, the duaghter of Alexander and Emma Elder Coyner. She had spent most of her life at Nichols, coming to Muscatine in 1953. Her marriage to J.W. Rummells took place Sept. 28, 1893, at Nichols. She was a member of the Nichols Methodist church and of the Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. Rummells was a retired school teacher. Survivors include her husband, in Muscatine; two sons, Harolde J. Rummells, Iowa City, and Howard Rummells, Mt. Pleasant; four daughters, Mrs. Harry Shannon, Waterloo, Mrs. H.E. Borchardt, West Palm Beach, Fla., Mrs. Walter TeStrake, Mt. Dora, Fla., and Mrs. Hubert Tipton, Indian Rocks Beach, Fla.; four brothers, Mark and Harry Coyner, Muscatine, Clayton Coyner, Nichols, and Ed Coyner, Miami, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. George Hahn, Muscatine; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
