Bollenbeck, Gustavus. Born in Germany. Married Margaretha Weiburch December 15,
1868; children: Emma, Herman, Claud, Gustavus. Enlisted September 5, 1862, at
Avon, Ill., Company B, Ninth Illinois Cavalry; suffered poor hearing from
artillery; discharged June 10, 1865. Settled in O'Brien County, 1881, section
25, Baker Township. Died March 27, 1903, at Kingfisher, Okla. Member G. A. R.
and Lutheran Church.
