Wife's name, Adora; married November 27, 1873; children: Henrietta, Cyler, Thurslow, James B., Nancy E., Warren, Sophia. Enlisted August 12, 1862, at Juda, Wis., in Company K, Twenty-second Wisconsin Infantry, Third Division, Twentieth Army Corps; taken prisoner March 25, 1863; discharged February 26, 1864, at Murfreesboro, Tenn., on account of disability. Settled in Omega township, this county, April 6, 1884. Member Baptist Church; Masonic Lodge, and Zach Taylor Post No. 42, Fulda, Minn.
