Rites Saturday For Mrs Johnson
Service in Clarinda for Widow of Harry Johnson
Mrs Martha Johnson, 78, mother of Mrs Ted Davies of Taylor County, died 
Thursday at the West Portal Test home in Clarinda after a long lillness.  She 
had been at the home a year and two months.  The funeral was held Saturday at 
the Walker Funeral Home with the Rev David Ash of the First Methodist Church 
in charge.  Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery jus east of Clarinda.  Mrs 
Johnson was born at Elkader, Iowa and was the wife of Harry L Johnson who died 
in 1956.  Three sons are Clarence, Orvie and Klad, and three daughters Lilly, 
Lucille and Lavon.

Additional Comments:
Dau Alta E Johnson Cormier died 1955 Billings, mt.  Martha was dau of Rose and 
Thomas Kerr.  She had one brother John R and sisters Maria, Margaret, Mary , 
and Elisabeth.
