He had been ill for a short time following a major operation. His widow and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Harry Weil, were taking the body back to Patterson, NJ, for burial. The two sons, Harry and Bu, live in New York. Mr. Weil had reached his eightieth birthday March 14. Mr. Weil was the last surviving of the four brothers, leaving Clarinda in 1903 to engage in manufacturing of clothing at Patterson, NJ. His factory developed finally into exclusively making of shirts, the Excello shirts being one of the leading nationally advertised lines. He had sold his interests and retired from the business several years ago, leaving his son, Harry, still with the firm.
