Wife, Mary Humphrey is daughter of Thomas Toner.. The children are Bessie, Rose, Robert, Charles, James, Mary,(my grandmother, she went to and taught at the Olive branch school.), Esther, Clyde, and William. James died as infant. Most all the children went to the Olive branch School. Thomas Toner, their grandfather, helped start The Reformed Presbyterian Church of Clarinda, located 3 miles south of Clarinda and 1 1/2 miles west of Highway 71, organized, I believe in 1856, Rev Joseph McCracken first pastor.
