He was nearly 81 years old. Mr. Christianson had been in the yard raking some dry grass when Mrs. Harry Christianson came with a cold watermelon for them. When he didn’t come his daughter-in-law went to call him again and found him lying on the porch where he had died of a heart attack. Mr. Christianson was a kind and loyal man, one who everyone called a friend. For many years he had cared for Mrs. Christianson, who has been ailing. He helped with the household duties besides working outside whenever possible, never complaining.
