JUZEK Wilma Viola Juzek, 93, of Sioux City died Sunday, June 11, 2000, at her residence following a lengthy illness. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Peter Boe of Christ Lutheran Church in Grant Township, Iowa, officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Merrill, Iowa. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m. with Mike Inman chaplain of Hospice of Siouxland officiating, all at the funeral home. Mrs. Juzek was born Nov. 19, 1906, in Merrill, the daughter of Grant and Mabel (Phillips) Lake. She married Charles Juzek on Jan. 29, 1929, in Elk Point, S.D. Her husband died Dec. 23, 1978, in Akron, Iowa. Survivors include two sons and their wives, all of Merrill; a daughter and her husband of Le Mars, Iowa; a sister-in-law, Freida Lake of Le Mars; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Mearl Lake; a grandson, Gary Grant Plueger; and three great-grandchildren.
