       Fred E. Lucken, 82, of Akron died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 1988.
	Mr. Lucken was born Dec. 21, 1905, in Plymouth County.  He married 
Hope Morehead Jan. 12, 1933, at Plymouth Presbyterian Church.  
	
	Survivors include his wife; two sons, Arlen and Alan, both of Akron; 
four grandchildren; five sisters, Ann Curry of South Sioux City; Rose Swain 
and Henrietta Bue, both of Sioux City, Johanna Erickson of Spencer and Dorothy 
Murphy of Vermillion, S.D., and a brother Ernest of Akron.
