Des Moines Register, 10/6/1962
Jennie , 70, was killed when a car struck her as she was crossing a street.
She was born in Alexandria and lived in Scranton several years before moving 
to Des Moines 20 years ago.
Survivors include 5 sons; John A., and Virgil V., both of Des Moines, Roger A. 
of Columbus, OH, Clarence E. of Omaha, NE and Lewis R. of Miami, OK; 5 
daughters; Mrs. Esther M. Huggins of Loris, SC, Mrs. Eleanor Stanley of 
Herndon, Mrs. Albert L. McDonald of Des Moines, Mrs. Lois Kennedy of 
Baltimore, MD and Marlys Ury of Des Moines; 2 brothers, John Butenhoff of Des 
Moines & Irvin Butenhoff of Waterloo; a sister, Mrs. Lucy Moore of Marshall, 
MO; and 26 grandchildren. Her husband, Calvin A. Moore, died in 1951.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Des Moines.
