Marlys, 66, died of cancer at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Scranton 
and lived in Des Moines most of her life.
Survivors include her husband, Dick; 2 daughters, Janet Anderson of 
Minneapolis & Nancy Parsley of Fort Mitchell, KY; a son, Dick of Des Moines; 3 
sisters, Alberta McDonald of Des Moines, Eleanor Stanley of Perry & Lois 
Kennedy of Baltimore, MD; 4 brothers, Virgil Moore & John Moore, both of Des 
Moines, Cy Moore of Omaha & Lewis Moore of Prague, OK; 7 grandchildren and 2 
great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Des Moines.
