Elmer C. Erickson	             (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Elmer C. Erickson, 82, Ute, Iowa, passed away September 23, 1985, at a 
hospital in Denison, Iowa.
	He was born April 11, 1903, at Soldier, Iowa, to Nels and Mary (Moen) 
Erickson.  On December 15, 1926, he was united in marriage to Palma Lee at 
Council Bluffs, IA.
	Survivors include his wife, Palma, a son of Omaha, a daughter of Ida 
Grove, Iowa, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two step-
grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Clara Datterl of Dunlap and Mrs. Palma 
Blackman of Ute.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Blair, a brother, 
Edwin and three sisters, Mergena Erickson, Gertrude Erickson, and Amy Erickson.
