Died September 4th, at his residence in Agricola, Poweshiek County, Iowa, Rev. James
Greene, aged 65 years. Father Greene was born in Cookstown, Ireland, January, 1798,
was educated at one of the Universities of that land, and entered the ministry. He
emigrated to this country in the Spring of 1838, and settled in Pennsylvania. In the
Summer of 1854 he removed to Iowa...
