        Olaf Ulven passed away on October 17, 1952.  He  was born April 13, 
1890 in Willow township, Monona county, Iowa to Ole and Karen Ulven.   On 
December 5, 1911 he was united in holy wedlock to Edith Braden.  The Lord 
blessed this union with seven children.
	 He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, two sisters 
and two grandsons:  Theodore Richard Britton in 1940 and Dennis Edward Ulven 
in 1948.
	He is survived and mourned by his faithful and devoted wife of Lake 
View; four sons, Earl of Castana, Verne of Soldier, Bennett and Donald of Lake 
View; three daughters, (Mildred) Mrs. George Britton of Denison, (Lydia) Mrs. 
Harvey Jorgenson of Audubon; and another daughter  of Lake View; 18 
grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters:  Martha Nelsen, Even and 
Harold of Soldier, Olga Braden of Ida Grove, Ella Wood and Alfred of Oregon, 
and a host of relatives and friends.
	
	
	Within the Father’s many mansion,
	Still dwelling in another room,
	The one whose going left us lonely,
	Is scaling heights undreamed of yore.
	And guided on by loves unfolding,
	Has gone upstairs and shut the door.
