Eighth IA Cavalry - Scott Co.

Of 1234 officers and men, 30 were killed, 106 died, 67 were discharged,
87 were wounded, 2 were missing, 259 were captured, and 22 were transferred.

Mustered in at Davenport, Sept. 30, 1863. Mustered out at Macon, Ga., Aug.
13, 1865.
